Voodoo Wild was formed in 2005. The band is led by Pierre Velghe, who has always been passionate about the music of Jimi Hendrix. This passion led him to play with the ‘Noël Redding Band’ – the band led by the bassist from the Jimi Hendrix Experience – in 1999, and later to form this band. Since 2005, Voodoo Wild have been performing at venues and festivals across northern France and the Benelux countries. Their numerous gigs have earned them a solid reputation for the quality of their show and the Hendrix-esque spirit it exudes. They have supported a host of artists, from Joe Bonamassa to Trust, UFO, Gojira and N’Guyen Lê.
